Google’s Project Glass: Are we ready for it?

Does anybody remember Alex James Murphy, the cyborg police officer of Detroit? Our very own RoboCop? Google’s augmented reality glass reminds me of him. Especially, when a virtual overlay map starts giving you directions on the road, you video talk to your boss on the go, you reply to emails in the middle of a meeting, you click pictures by blinking your eye while passing by a hill, you fill an empty plot with a virtual image of your dream house and what not, without any obtrusive headgear. As a matter of fact, you do so without holding a single device like those of smartphones and tabs in your hands.

The cute guy at Facebook headquarters has rolled out developer’s edition of Timeline in the website’s stream already. Some geeky freaky minds are up with testing it.
Call it an attempt to sideline Google+ if at all it needs to be sidelined! or simply an upgrade to the next level of social networking phenomenon, Facebook Timeline has got everything to be the glitzy favorite of netizens in the coming days.

After a week of Google+ hustle, Facebook is back into news. Zuckerburg announced a couple of goodies for all Facebook addicts few hours ago. The website’s blog announced it earlier than him. Nevermind.
So, coming to the point. Facebook will have Video calling for everyone over the next few weeks, but if you don't want to wait, you can get it now. Yes! Mark told the media that this is going to be a less than 30 seconds affair on a sound internet connection. The two biggies, Facebook and Skype have joined hands to make the world smaller.

An ‘Epic’ Indian Browser

Finally, we have the first Indian internet browser and by Indian, we did not mean the Indian flag that it has on it’s logo. Launched by a Bangalore based company Hidden Reflex, Epic is all set to make Indians proud.
Epic, based on Mozilla platform, comes bundled with a bunch of India centric features and is available for a free download here. After testing it for continuous 4 hours on 8 tabs together and without any crash, We are impressed.
The Looks and Features:
It is light, spacious and neat. By default, comes with a peacock background which may not be too soothing to eyes but you can always choose the background according to your whim from a range of 1500 creative themes related to India at the launch itself.
