Facebook ready to Bounce back!

After a week of Google+ hustle, Facebook is back into news. Zuckerburg announced a couple of goodies for all Facebook addicts few hours ago. The website’s blog announced it earlier than him. Nevermind.
So, coming to the point. Facebook will have Video calling for everyone over the next few weeks, but if you don't want to wait, you can get it now. Yes! Mark told the media that this is going to be a less than 30 seconds affair on a sound internet connection. The two biggies, Facebook and Skype have joined hands to make the world smaller.
No doubt, it is a wonderful goodie for all the users and an intelligent move on Skype’s part. “Skype will be able to connect billions of people with this partnership.” Said Tony Bates, CEO, Skype at Facebook headquarters in Palo Alto. Secondly, Mark announced ‘newly’ designed chat. The new chat design includes a sidebar that lists the people you message most. Now it will be easier to find your friends and start a conversation. The sidebar adjusts with the size of your browser window, and it automatically appears when the window is wide enough. Now, that’s so old fashioned. Too Retro! And, Google+ already announced hangouts a week ago. Isn’t it?

We are looking forward to it, Mark. Facebook has remained under a dry spell for long when it comes to new launches. This catalyst launch is expected to save the show that Google+ is ready to steal. Zuckerberg said that he sees Google+ as validation. He also added that Facebook has spent the last five years building up its social network, whereas no one has spent much time yet on Google+.
With already closed invites, Google+ is up with testing the project. And, the response is huge. We hope it will not turn out to be another response ‘Wave’. It looks promising. The name though, sounds like an antacid sometimes.
Facebook or Google+, we expect a lot of networking fun as the two bigwigs clash in the online world. And, for heavens sake, Mr. Zuckerburg, your chat gadget still sticks!
